Welcome to Staithes Lifeboat station
Welcome to Staithes & Runswick RNLI Lifeboat official website. Over the last 140 years RNLI lifeboats have been stationed at Staithes & Runswick. Today the Atlantic 75 B-class lifeboat, “Pride of Leicester”, is housed at Staithes, a small fishing village 10 miles north of Whitby.
We are currently updating and improving the the web site so please be patient while we make some exciting changes!

We have a donation on behalf of our late father Eric Sibly. A party of us are walking from Saltburn to Whitby next Saturday and our intention is to call into RNLI at Runswick with the collection. Would anyone be available to recieve the gift? We calculat it will be around lunch time.
