Fishing Boat Towed Home.

Staithes & Runswick RNLI lifeboat was launched at 1130am on Thursday morning after the Skipper of a local fishing boat reported that the boat had broken down about one and a half miles east of Staithes.

The lifeboat quickly found the 18-foot fishing boat and began towing it to Staithes. They arrived safely in to the harbour at 12:10pm.

There was a problem with the fuel supply to the engine so we decided to tow the vessel in. It was a nice day and a straight forward towing job.
